Lakes Maitland and Osceola

Venetian Canal, Palmer Ave. Bridge.
Under way, usual place, Fort Maitland Park, usual time, 8:39.

Large bird, or pine branch on Dog Island?
Closer to Dog Island.

Large bird.
I had a great paddle.  From Dog Island to the Isle of Sicily, with homes of plutocrats and a scenic bridge.  On to Kraft Azalea Gardens,  as a train of great blue herons flew overhead.  Photos of the Grecian columns in the Gardens, before paddling the scenic Venetian Canal to Lake Osceola.  Just a peak at that lake before heading back.  A visit to the cormorants and angina roosting on the cypress trees that mark the Maitland/Winter Park border.  Back to Dog Island, which now held about a dozen great egrets,  the blue herons I saw earlier, and more.  Including a wood stork.

Got home, after deleting a few, I had 102 photos on a two hour trip.  Unfortunately, the only person who will see them is the scumbag who broke into my house.  Robbed.  Again. While at work. Laptop, camera, piggy banks, change on dresser, gone. In my backpack.  So, if you see someone with a raggedy red backpack and a Toshiba laptop without a space bar, shoot him.

I do have a second camera, and bought a laptop tonight.  Please also shoot the designers of widows 8. Who is the fucking idiot who forgot to put the minimize button on it? Or neglected the shutdown button.  Probably a committee of fucking idiots.

Excuse my French.  Hopefully I'll have things figured out by Saturday. Thinking Hillsbourgh River.
