Cedar Key, Tuesday

I usually have to walk out to the beach to see the sun rise.  But, the February sunrise is visible from the 331 balcony. Out of bed at 7:08.

 7:13 sunrise

I lay down for a few minutes, then went for a walk about town

I nice 40 minute walk.  Topped off by a bald eagle flying by as I walked in the door.
For a big bowl of shrimp
Packed, checked out, on the water at 11:12

 Scale key bald eagle nest
 Dog Island osprey

Number 2 Channel

Juvenile yellow crowned night heron
 Roseate spoonbill
In the black crowned night heron rookery near Nature's Landing

There were more spoonbills, but they flew off as I paddled through the mangroves

Last chance for dolphins.  Saw none.  So, just alligator, bear, deer, otters, manatees, bald eagles, white pelicans, roseate spoonbills, and more, over 4 days.

Landed 5 after 2
 Number 2 Bridge
 Number 3
And 4.  Clocked in at work, 5:06
