Wekiva River

I have worked with Fredy R. for almost 8 years.  Last week, he said he wanted to go kayaking.  I said, meet me at Katie's Landing on Sunday.
He showed up.  We were on the Wekiva River at 9:30.
Paddled down River

Great blue heron
 Wekiva Haven
Ibis

Anhinga
 Great egret

Saw some prothonotary warblers. I was unable to get a photo.
 Turned around at 11:08

 Alligator

Fredy was not quite as enthusiastic about the upstream paddle as  he had the down River.
Until I let him use my paddle for a while.

Tri colored heron

Blue heron and soon to be digested insect

Maturing blue heron. They start out all white

I wanted to get a picture of Fredy and the great blue heron
 I failed.
Have to settle for the opener of Fredy and alligator

 Landed at 12:45
Post paddle Reuben at Gator's Dockside in Lake Mary.  Fredy paid for the pitcher and app.  Gator tail.  I darn good deal for a private kayak tour

Classic Wekiva River. Made me want to go there and did paddle it just a few weeks ago. Did you warn Fredy that once your start kayaking can never stop?

I think he'll be back on the water.
