Terra Ceia State Preserve

Just twenty minutes on the water on the way to Sanibel.  Traffic west out of Orlando gets worse every time I try to get away on Friday after work.  Crawling on the 408 from Kirkman, to the Turnpike, to the 429.

Cedar Key

Full rainbow on the afternoon paddle.  After paddling some of the biggest waves I have ever done, on the return from Snake Key.

Rainbow River

An unplanned swim.  After an unplanned drop of a camera in the River.  The Olympus Tough, fortunately.  On the way to Cedar Key, after a long work week, post Irma.

Lake Maitland

I did not test the conductivity of my kayak. Or, paddle.  Driving along Alabama Drive, I saw a oak that crushed a boat house on the Venetian Canal.  Likely brought down the power lines, too.

Wekiva and Little Wekiva

And, Wekiva  Falls.  The pedestrian bridge that blocks access from the River was blown away by Irma.

Mosquito Lagoon

Wednesday, September 13, 2017.  After Hurricane Irma.  Took a while to find a place to launch.  Bethune Park. 8581

Lake Tomahawk

Where's the water, you ask?  Well, I left the cameras at home.  Ordered a Canon Powershot Elpf 360HS, from my brother's house, after midnight.  There waiting for me when I arrived a little after 10 AM.  Store opened at 10 AM
