Lake Howell

 On the water at 8:10

What I was hoping to see.
 Eagle, not the egrets.

5-6 great egrets at the base of the eagle's tree
Lake Howell is a good sized lake.   A cold front is coming, wind was howling.  I turned around.
Overnight rain and a few waves over the bow helped clean 4 days of salt water off the kayak.

 Back to where I began.
Continued, along the somewhat wind protected shoreline

 Turned around.

 Bald eagle

Looks like the wintering birds have arrived. There are always, egrets, herons and wood storks, but this time of year, there are a lot more.

 Landed at 10:19
Launch fee. One plastic bottle from the Lake.
