Wekiva, Little Wekiva Rivers

Sandhill cranes on the road into Wilsons Landing.
On the water at 9:45.  The green carpet is several inches under water.

Paddling up the Wekiva River

Into the Little Wekiva River.  Continuing to paddle up stream.

Deer stands are surrounded by the river.

This may be my turnaround point.  Looking towards the marshy area before the Adventures in Florida launch site. 1:11 PM

Paddling on the backside of the deer stands.

Little gator in the shadow

Back on the Wekiva

Stopped at Twin Mounds

Bear scat off the bow

Landed at 3:54

Went for a bike ride on the Seminole-Wekiva Trail.  Began at the Jones Trailhead.

Ginger Ale Springs is not on the Historical Marker, but google maps had it close by.
I found it.
The white spot is a boil.  Where the water comes out of the ground.

The structure is the remains of a bottling operation from the 1920's.

The round trip was about 6.5 miles
