Hillsborough River 17 Runs

I woke up and saw a Facebook post saying 17 Runs, the downfall laden section of the Hillsborough River, had been cleared. As part of the hurricane cleanup.I had to paddle it before more people find out.

I was in the canal from Sargeant Park just before 9

Not to mention, alligators.

A bald eagle was across from the kayak launch at Blue Springs State Park. Got the picture below before I was on the water.

A cool morning forecast in the Ocala National Forest. Maybe the last good chance to see manatees at Silver Glen Spring

No manatees, but a lot of striped bass. And the usual mullet.
