Blackwater Creek

The only animal photo from an after work paddle on Blackwater Creek, in the Seminole State Forest.

 Three deer did cross the road in front of me on the way to the launch site.  A turkey, too.

On the water at 6:20

 

 

 

I spotted an ibis, 2 or 3 alligators and three more deer.  Including 2 beautiful bucks. Too deep in the trees to get a picture.  Even though they walked the same way I was paddling for a while.

 Turned back just past the old road, or should I say, water block. It was 7:15

 

 

 

Saw an ibis, again.

 

Pileated woodpecker and a couple more shy gators

 

 

 Landed at 8:10
