Econlockhatchee River

To my surprise, a check of the Yak Tales archives revealed today was the first time I had launched from County Road 419 since August, 2011. First car/bike shuttle since April of that year.  Left the kayak at the 419 bridge, drove to the Snowhill Road bridge, and biked back.
 5 miles, into the wind.
 Underway at 9:45

Different views from Saturday's paddle on Rock Springs Run

Saw just two alligators, no photos.  Saw too much trash.  Brought along a plastic grocery bag for that purpose.  Filled it, and the bag that had held my sandwich. No photos
Landed at Snowhill Road at 1:20.

Well, I tried to allow Anonymous postngs. As soon as I did, I had the same problem with the same person/spammer posting comments. One jerk spoils it for all. So,you'll need to register to post a comment.
