Turkey Creek

On the water at 4PM.  Never saw so many cars at the side of the road parking area.  8 or so.
A short trail leads to the canoe launch in the Turkey Creek Sanctuary.  A bike trail crosses the trail to the River.  Look both ways.

30 minutes, and you have to turn around

The Port Malabar Road bridge marks the end of the Turkey Creek Sanctuary

This deer has been here as long as I have been paddling Turkey Creek

Goode Park. Where I launched before discovering the side of the road put in

New kayak rental place

Where Palm Bay meets the Indian River.  I turned back

The old kayak rental place.  I went there once.  With the McMahon family.  They did not have enough kayaks.  We went to Sebastian Inlet State Park.  They were able to provide enough kayaks.

No directional signage back in April, 2005 when I first kayaked Turkey Creek

Female cardinal

This boat has been in a side channel for years. 10? probably more

Landed at 7:35
