Lake Maitland

The every day kayaking season is not quite over.  I was thinking last Thursday would be me last after work, weekday paddling session.  But, I thought. I'll leave work early, 5:50 instead of 6.  So of course, my last call of the day, hoping to get a voice mail, I get an obstinate insurance adjuster.  Ending the call by saying I will have to advise the client to sue, GEICO.  Clocked out at 5:59.

On Lake Maitland at 6:25. The former osprey, recent bald eagle tree, was empty.

Landed at 7:03.  I think I will go kayaking Wednesday.  And this time, no phone calls after 5:45!
