Lake Fairview

Short, less than 30-minute paddle on Lake Fairview after work.

It was windy, choppy, and thunderstormy. When I saw a distant blot, I said, one more, and I'm outaa here.

Lightning rods

The first bolt was in the eastern sky.  The second. to the south. I'm not talking horizontal flashes across the sky.  These were vertical.  I made my way to the boat launch at Lake Fairview Park.
