  The boat ramp at Dinky Dock had barriers across it.  So, I launched from the beach.  As I always do.

I asked a City of Winter Park employee if I could get in trouble.  "Only if you drink the water". I was under way at 8:22

City workers going out to test the water.  "Sewage or bird poop?"  "That is what we are trying to find out"

At 9PM on Tuesday, February 7, the City of Winter Park, Lakes Division website states:
The boat ramp and beach at Dinky Dock Park is closed to swimming until further notice due to elevated bacterial levels.

 But, nothing about what caused it.
