I arrived at Myakka River State Park relatively late on Saturday, February 17. All 30 Wilderness Permits were gone. "24 Cub Scouts were in line at 7:45" I was on the water at 9:45
Launched from the Park Road bridge and paddled up River
A good day for alligators. All day rain forecast for Sunday, so they were out soaking up the sun's energy.
