My first stop was a park on the Christina River, in Wilmington. It had no place to launch a kayak. There is a boat ramp, 6 miles away. Becks Pond is abut 14 miles but closer to my next destination. Not to mention, with a noreaster coming in, I thought the Pond would be less windy than the River.
I was underway at 4:10
The Pond is good sized. I had places to go, so I did not explore all of it
