Passing the Withlacoochee River and State Trail on the way to and back from Chassahowitzka on Friday, I told myself I need to paddle it.

And bike the Withlacooche State Trail as part of a car-bike shuttle. About 7.5 miles from Lake Townsen to Silver Lake.

I began the morning walk before sunrise.

The Oaks campsite was a good destination because it has an outhouse.
