It is also a treat to see roseate spoonbills. Especialy at a location were they are rare. I have never seen a spoonbill after launching from Wekiwa Springs State Park. I paddled 15 years from Katie's Landing before I saw my first spoonbill on the Wekiva. I don't think I have ever seen more than 2, and I am not certain of that number.
Today, on a short paddle, I saw 7.I did a car bike shuttle. Dropped the kayak at Wilson's Landing, drove to Katie's Landing, left the car, and made the short bike ride back to Wilson's. On the River, in a drizzle, at 1:30

Well, I tried to allow Anonymous postngs. As soon as I did, I had the same problem with the same person/spammer posting comments. One jerk spoils it for all. So,you'll need to register to post a comment.
