Wekiva River
Launched at Wekiwa Springs State Park, which was full. I did so because I wanted to continue my kayaking and live music weekends. This is Easter weekend, and other than organs at High Mass, music was hard to find. The plan was to catch 45 minutes of a bluegrass band, Sandy Back Porch, at Wekiva Island, assuming they started on time, at 7PM. That did not work out, as Wekiva Island no longer lets kayaks land at the boat ramp, but make us use a dock. I did not want to risk tipping after a beer, in twilight.
On the water at 2:40Only the first two pics are with the good camera. It did not have a batterry, and the spare was not charged.
Can't add the photos I took with my new phone, as I am having cloud issues.
And finally the memory card in the Olympus Tough is giving an erroe message.

Turkey Creek
I do not recall ever seeing the water at the dam so high, or seeing the bridges in the background. They must be releasing more water to keep the Creek level up during the drought.Began the day with a walk on Satellite Beach. Because, where else would you be after the first trip to the moon since 1972? Launched from Goode Park, in light rain, at 11:18. Took the first 3 pics with the Olympus Tough before the rain stopped.Butterfly
The scenery improves up Creek of the Port Malabar Blvd bridge.
Only gator I saw.

Alexander Creek
On the Creek from the Alexander Springs Recreation Area at 12:20. There was 4-5 cars ahead of me at the entrance station.I was thinking of paddling for 2 hours before turning around. I was just past the houses on the right (just 2) when a canoer appeared ahead of me. I decided to turn back. It was 1:45. Just an hour 45 minutes for the down Creek paddle.
A spirited game of Marco Polo was in progress when I returned to Alexander Spring.
Stopped at the Neighborhood Lakes Trailhead on the way home. The Neighborhood Lakes Trail is short, about 2.5 miles, but it links to the longer Wekiva Trail. I biked about 7 miles. Just my second time here. The trails were built along with, and largely alongside, the toll road.
