Simonton Beach and Salt Run

A new launch spot for me. Simonton Beach is .04 miles from my lodging at Rowan Manor. Drove there, dropped of the kayak, walked back. Parking in Key West is expensive.

On the water at 8:26. Brother in law Bill said I should paddle out to Wisteria Island. But, it was a bit bumpy. Even before tour boats began to zoom by. So I headed to the shelter of the docks.
