Paddled the Econ with Tim Shields. After leaving his truck at the Snowhill Road takeout and driving back to launch at County Road 419, we were on the water at 9:43.
The ever fluculating Econ is up a few feet since I last paddled it a month or so ago. Down a few feet since Tim last paddled it 7-10 days ago.

About Me
- Dave
- I bought a used kayak in March, 2005 and began sending tales of trips to friends and family. That November, generous friends bought me a camera, Canon Powershot 400, so pictures were added to the tales. January 2007, I was able to add underwater photography, thanks to one of my brothers. I am now on my sixth camera. As of May, 2014, I have a Powershot 115 IS. When I began kayaking in 2005, I would search the Internet for paddling information, trip reports, and practical advice. I hope this site adds to your knowledge and enjoyment. My home in Winter Park, FL,north of Orlando,allows easy access to both coasts and all the spring fed rivers in between. Many Tales are day trips. No overnight stay required. I welcome your comments and will try to respond to any questions you may have. If you are in, or plan to visit Key West, call my brother, Andy Cannon, at 305-879-0862.
