Yes, back to Rock Springs Run for the third straight paddle. The forecast this Saturday, November 15, 2008 called for wind and a chance of rain, so I decided to stay close to home and work after getting off at noon. And, after all the deer I've seen lately on Rock Springs Run, why go anywhere else ? Six deer sightings this afternoon. Probably four deer, unless a doe and yearling I passed on the way upstream were replaced by a similar sized pair in the same area on the way back.
I was in the water at water at 1:09, turned around at 3:13, landed at 5:40.

Preening limpkin.
Done.

Orange shelled turtles.

Yellow shell.

Birds

Great blue, blue heron and ibis.
"Ten paces, turn and draw, pardner"
Once on Rock Springs Run, I saw only 8 paddlers and none upstream of Otter Camp, where a large group (not included in the 8) was camping. One alligator, a four footer.

The End.
