Blackwater Cree k to St. Johns River, and back.

More ibis on my street as I left home than I would see all day.
One way to avoid crowds on a holiday. Lock the gate behind you.

Silver and Banana Rivers

/>
The Silver River would not be my first choice to go kayaking on a holiday weekend. Too crowded. But, the day began dropping off my camping trailer for repairs, 13 miles away.
The motor boat is a State Park patrol boat. No private motorboats allowe on the Fort King waterway. Which is closed, for a boardwalk project, except from this section from launch to River. Which only adds to the crowd on the Silver River.
