Lakes Maitland, Nina, and Minnehaha

Usual Wednesday morning paddle, starting at 9:03

Cool and windy. I had to wear a windbreaker

A bald eagle soared as I entered Lake Minnehaha.  On the far side. I hoped it would land, it did not.

 Another eagle, or maybe the same one, again, far off.

This young eagle came down low enough for a couple pics, including the cover shot

 

 

 

Landed at 10:40. 

 Took these pictures so I will remember to launch from Dinky Dock on Lake Virginia the next few weeks.
