Suwannee River

Morning walk to the Ecological Preserve
After a breakfast of grapefruit, ham, eggs and pecan waffles, it was off to Gibson Park to paddle the Suwannee River.

Aucilla River

The usual morning walk to begin the day.
"Usual" my be the wrong word as I try to change it up each day.
I went north on the bike trail, instead of south today.

Ocheesee Pond

Began the day with a walk in the Monticello Ecological Preserve
Which is showing the effects of last years hurricanes.
Live Oak and sabalm pond in front of the 1872 Denham Inn. After a hardy breakfast, it was off to Ocheesee Pond

Wakulla River and Lake Miccosukee

With Adventures in Florida. Photo is the Lake.
The morning walk was shortend by rain.
On the Waukalla at 10:44

Photos will not be very good. My good camera has disappeared. I am thinking it fell out of the truck Sunday at Lake Miccosukee.

Lake Miccosukee

A very short paddle on Lake Miccosukee after getting a new group settled in at the Denham Inn in Monticello, Florida.
On the water at 6:03. Would have been earlier, but had to stop twice to retie the kayak on the pickup truck Thule bars.
Landed at 6:14. Would have stayed out later, but dinner was on the table back at the Denham Inn with Adventures in Florida. I had the kayak properly secured on the drive back to the Inn. And kept my kayaking streak alive. Last day not on the water was October 8, 2024.
