Roanoke Rapids Lake, North Carolina

Arrived about 1:15, traveling from Irene and Steve's fancy highrise condo in McLean, VA. The Lake is in the town of Roaanoke Rapids, just south of the VIrginia state line.

I had been able to avoid most of the effect of the noreaster pounding the east coast. Until today. Wind was strong on the big lake.

Dinner and the Brewer game at the Bar and Grille at the Florence Express Inn. I was the only one there. Had a chicken Philly. Watching by diet wiath an upcoming colonospony. Washed down with an IPA. I asked the bartender if it was local. Yes. One the way out, I walked past the tap. Vodoo Ranger. Brewed in Ft. Collins. I don't understand servers not knowing their products. Which happens a lot with beers.
