Weeki Wachee

On the water from Rogers Park at 10:10. It was cold, so I took my time on the drive and at the Park. Where parking is now $11, pay by phone. A county working did not know what parking was at Jenkins Park, and suggested I check the Hernando County website. I did, and it said $10. Also had $10 for Rogers Park. The extra buck must be and admim charge.
Several manatees at the Hospital Hole sink. 25, according to a couple of kayakers.

Turkey Creek

Began the day at the Felsmere Frogleg Festival
I was on Turkey Creek at 10 past 2. Launched from the mountain bike trailhead, halfway up the Creek to stay out of the wind. After a beautiful late morning to mid afternoon at the Festival, the wind kicked up and the temperture plumetted from the 70's to the 50's.

Silver River

Cool temps had me thinking to kayak somewhere with manatees. I then saw a Facebook post from last year. Lots of manatees in the Silver River on this date last year. So, off to Ray's Wayside.
On the water at 10:30
I was surprised to see a gator out in the cool. I should not have been.
