Morning on Little Spider Lake

 A hearty breakfast, then off to Lake Katherine

The extended family stayed here a couple times

Beaver dam had me turn back

 I headed to the Rice Creek State Natural Area

 No idea what the name of this colorful bird is.

Beaver lodge. Saw one or two of the builders

 Beaver dam made for some faster water. Had to paddle hard on the way back
