Blackwater Creek and Wekiva River
Must have had the camera on some goofy setting to give the bridge a hump. Above is the first photo of the day, on Blackwater Creek at 12:05.

Econlockhatchee River
Did something I have not done before. Paddled both sections of the Econlockhatchee River. 19 miles from 419 to C.S. Lee. I was with Greg P. of Adventures In Florida, a new guide, Celia, Greg's friend, Patrick, and his friend Carissa. I told Patrick I would have to subscribe to the Orlando Sentinel to read the full account of the trip he and Greg did on the St. Johns River a couple years ago.
I did. The link may be behind a paywall.

Weeki Wachee and more
Mostly more as the Weeki Wachee is TFC at 2 PM on a July afternoon.
I was in the area on business. Kayaking business. A paddling club at a nearby subdivision needs a new outfitter and guides. So me and another Dave from Adventures in Florida met them today. The Glen Lakes Kayak Club will be using Adventures in Florida for their monthly paddles.
After a 2:40 PM launch, I headed down stream, than under a small bridge to a side channel. Found a creek that I thought would take me to the Mud River. It may, if you are a fish.I did find the correct creek.

Blackwater Creek
On the Creek at 2. Before I launched, I learned from a guy fishing on the bank, that the gator that was removed last week was being fed. Fish guts and carcasses from another angler.
