Park Lake and Lake Gem

Paddled these two close to home lakes because I was going to get a trailer hitch installed on my new to me Outback. Dropped of the kayak, than went to U-Haul. It is about a half mile back to the lakes, and another half mile walk home. But, U-Haul did not have the wiring in stock. So, I will do that nest week.

On the water at the short channel between the lakes at 8:20

Into Park Lake. Forgot my camera, so all photos are iphone 7. I missed several birds, mostly anhingas.

Gem is the smaller of the two small lakes.
