Lost Lake to Big Arbor Vitae

On Lost Lake at 5:54 AM for a last day at the Lost Lake Cabins paddle.
Chipmunk on canoe.
Landed, fixed breakfast, packed, swept the cabin and left. But not before filling a gallon from the artesian well at the Chipmunk Rapids Campground.
Arbor Vitae is 64 miles west of Lost Lake. I thought I would stop along the way. First stop was a sign reading, "Wildlife Viewing Area"
I turned around at the second place I could on the narrow track. Next turn was at a sign for White Deer and Ada Lake Campground. Six miles to it. Less than a mile in, 4 bucks crossed the road. I could see a lake on my left. Then a sign, for Quartz Lake. I went to the Lake.
The lake has a dirt parking area and one primative campsite. My kind of place.
It did rain on and off.
Not a bad little paddle.
