Wekiwa Springs State Park, Rock Springs Run

Sunday November 23.   Into the Wekiva  River at 8:55.

 To Rock Springs Run

I do not see snakes often. They are present, I just don't notice. This made two days in a row I saw a swimming snake.

Glad he has shell

Vulture

 goo goo eyed heron

Turn around point. Pretty, isn't it?

 Return to the Wekvia River
They always stop moving when the camera is on

Approaching an almost empty canoe beach.  Very few people on the water.  I love November.

.Left the water a little bit cleaner than I found it

Lunch break half way up the hill
Drove to Sand Lake.  Commented to another visitor, you know it is fall when the quiet side of the Park has as many cars as the busy side.

 Mills Creek Loop Trail start
 Trail torn up. Hogs?

Mill Creek

 Rock Springs Run

Half way

Bricks. Was this a cobble stone road at one time?

Mill Creek, again. It is loop, remember?

A 90 minute walk, 3.4 miles.  Years ago, I could run that far in 21 minutes.
 Snorkel time

A fine day. Despite not seeing single deer.  Unusual for November.
