Went for a walk after lunch and before I could put the kayak in the water.

The kayak launch for Kelly Park is at neighboring Camp Joy. A group campground. It requires signing it at the Kelly Park office to get the gate code. The of cars coming into Kelly Park extended far down the road, in the other direction, as I drove to Camp Joy. It is a long walk to the water from the parking area. Longer today than I have ever seen it. I was in the fourth row of cars from the fence. Can't Cub Scouts car pool? Despite all that, I was on the water at 8:19
