Estacada Lake, Estacada Oregon

Morning walk at the Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge
Trout Creek
Beautiful scenery and amenities like the sauna, at the Trout Creek Wilderness Lodge.
Some of you may be familiar with the Church
of the Double Bladed Paddle. The founder of that congregation, Casle, lives nearby. She came over and we headed to Estacada Lake.
We were on the water at 10:35
Flowers coming out of the stone.
The lake is formed by a pair of dams. It is narrow, more river like than lake. We paddled from dam to dam and back.
The lake had at least 2 waterfalls flowing into it.

Did not see much wildlife. Writing a month after the fact, I recall belted kingfishers. The scenery, and company, was wonderful.
One of the 2 dams.
Casle treated be to lunch. Hopefully she will visit Florida someday and I can return the favor.
Another walk back at the Lodge.
