Canaveral National Seashore, Eddy Creek

First time I have seen the steam from fuel being vented before a rocket launch.
I skipped my walk from home so I could get to the Canaveral National Seashore before it was closed off for today's launch attempt. Yesterday, I was too late. That launch was scrubbed due to weather.
On Playalinda Beach at 9:10
Turtle tracks. There are a LOT of nests on the beach.
After a mile and quarter beach walk, I was on the water at 10:30
Only a couple of manatees near the launch. Last visit, there were about 10.
4 astronauts are in the capsule.
Florida may have a lot of issues, but nowhere else in the world can you kayak with manatees while waiting for a rocket launch.
Liftoff!
Kayaking after a launch is better than being in traffic.
Landed at 12:45.
Had a snack on the deck overlooing the Mosquito Lagoon and the Atlantic before heading home.
