Pellicer Creek, Princess Place Preserve

I am on a week long paddling trip at Princess Place Preserve with Greg P. and Adventures in Florida.
The view from Cottage 2. Our group of 11, 9 guests and 2 guides has all 3 cabins.
I was on the Creek just before 4.
A canal offered protection from the wind.
Note the porch pillars on the main house.
Cottage from the water.

Wekiva River

The view from my office.
Borrowing a saying from Frank McBride.
I helped put my friends at Adventures in Florida today by taking two guests on a private tour down the Wekiva River. From Katies Landing to Highbanks Landing on the St Johns.
The day's highlight may have beeb 2 deer swimming across the Wekiva.
Linda and Dave were great guests. Not minding a soggy lunch spot. At the end of the rainy season, the rivers are high.
We took our time, taking almost 5 hours to complete the 8 miles paddle. (I told the guests it was 11, just got the 8 mile figure from the Florida Designated Paddling Trails website. Which has a link to Adventures in Florida.
Which is nice>

I began paddling up stream. It was way to crowded, so I turned around. Don't these people have jobs?
