Suwannee River, Friday, April 16

And, the Withlacoochee River (North).  A short paddle upon arriving at Suwannee River State Park.  I have driven to North Florida, and beyond, 5 of the last 6 Friday.  This was the first time without backups on the Turnpike and I-75. Spring break is over!

On the River at 7:27.  Had a delay in getting the electric hookup working at my campsite.

Lime Sink Run was roaring.

Landed at 8:03
Cooked the brats on an electric skillet, and boiled water for the ramen on a propane burner.  Photo taken at 9:40.  Had I built a fire, it would have been well past 10 before I ate.

On the topic of electricity, on May 5, the Florida Park Service will begin charging $7 for electric and water.  Same price charged for someone using one light, a skillet, a small coffee maker, and charging a phone. laptop, and camera batteries, who pees on the ground, and someone with a big screen TV, stereo, microwave, chandelier, oven, four burner stove, microwave, blender, toaster, flush toilet, and shower.
