Hontoon Island State Park. Dry bag retrieval paddle

Paddled in the lagoon between the Island and the St. Johns River

Went to the Hontoon Dead River
 .

Turned around at the old landing site

I tried, but failed, to knock down the bird house, Saturday.  One of the canals that links the Hontoon Dead River to the St. Johns River is full of this trash.

Landed at 10:44. 

Loaded the kayak, and took the pontoon ferry across to the island. 

Got my drybag, Gardetto's peanuts, and coffee. Changed into work clothes

Return ferry ride.
