Marl Lake is named for its Marl bottom.  Which gives it the aquamarine color.  All 22 lakes in the Waupaca Chain of Lakes have marl bottoms.  Marl Lake is the head of the Chain

Pete and Jackie arrived just after I checked in.  We went to dinner at the Wheelhouse. Which had a Fish Fry on Thursday night!
