Chiappannis, the 91 year old gas station, bait shop, general store and community center in Melrose, FL
has been sold. I had only been there once. In 2017. This morning, Mark Chiappini posted that Nancy Luca would be playing at 2 this afternoon. I had not heard any live music this weekend, so I made the drive. Stopped at the Juniper Wayside on the way.

- Dave
- I bought a used kayak in March, 2005 and began sending tales of trips to friends and family. That November, generous friends bought me a camera, Canon Powershot 400, so pictures were added to the tales. January 2007, I was able to add underwater photography, thanks to one of my brothers. I am now on my sixth camera. As of May, 2014, I have a Powershot 115 IS. When I began kayaking in 2005, I would search the Internet for paddling information, trip reports, and practical advice. I hope this site adds to your knowledge and enjoyment. My home in Winter Park, FL,north of Orlando,allows easy access to both coasts and all the spring fed rivers in between. Many Tales are day trips. No overnight stay required. I welcome your comments and will try to respond to any questions you may have.
