Lakes Virginia and Osceola

 

I was on the water for less time on Thursday, September 15, than the meager 29 minutes I got in yesterday.  As I drove to Dinky Dock Park after work, in the rain, I thought, I can kayak in this. Thunder, when I arrived, changed my mind.  I took the kayak off the car, got the water out, and waited.

It let up, and I was on Lake Viginia about 7:20

Into the Fern Canal to Lake Osceola

There was one, rather small, horizontal lighting flash.  Its the vertical ones you have to worry about.
