Newport Campground, Wakula River, and more

The forecast called for rain Saturday in Central and South Florida. Further north, in the Suwannee River Valley, it was forecast to end around 10. But, the Suwannee and Santa Fe are high. Springs are browned out. Further north and west, in the Big Bend, the rain was over at 8-9. So, I got a campsite at the Newport Campground. A Wakulla County park on the St. Marks River. My site was still occupied whe I arrived. The Wakulla River is just 5 miles west.
I was on the water at 9:53
I don't recall seeing this chimmney before
There were a least 6 manatees in a spring on the right side of the River
Back on the River
Lots of sunning turtles after the early morning rain.
