Sanibel Tuesday

No morning beach walk, I wanted to get to Ding Darling earlier.
I had not biked the entire Refuge in over ten years.

The first of several stops.

Mangrove overlook

My usual ride is the Indigo Trail.  Just 4 miles.

My usual kayak launch spot
Wulfert Keys Trail.  Did not go to the end.

Shell Mound Trail

Assholes.  Removed the exhibits.

Looking for alligators.

None seen

I often kayak under this bridge
Out of the Refuge, bike path on Sanibel-Captiva Road

Back in the Refuge, in the car, now.

In the kayak at 10:09.

The bridge you saw earlier from the bike.

Osprey
Green heron nest. Empty, now.

Landed at 12:17.
Food, family, friends, fun.  Out for a bike ride at 3:15.

Misplaced pics from here

To here
Pelicans, cormorants and ibis at the City of Sanibel reclaimed water ponds behind the Bailey Homestead Preserve.
