Lake Howell

A fine morning to text a friend to let her know I would be kayaking on her lake. Joanne responded, saying it was quiet.

Sure was. On the water at 8:48. My first pie billed grebe of the season.

Joanne is an Eagle Watch volunteer.  I guess this makes me, an assistant.

Landed at 10:23.  Two people on the lake.  A paddle boarder, and a guy in a pedal kayak. I have seen, and heard, the latter before.   Someone must have told him his kayak is not supposed to make a clanging noise.  Now, he just needs some headphones for his "music"
