Myakka

 Modern technology is great.  It lets me check the Florida State Parks website to see what campsites are available during a 4 AM dump. Whar? a cabin is available at Myakka River State Park?  I grabbed it. 

Traffic was horrendous.  Longer than usual backups in the usual places between Orlando and Tampa.  Plus, a long backup south of Tampa. All that meant I was not on the water until 7:15.

After I made my cabin reservation, I checked the weather report for the upcoming weekend.  Flood warning. Perhaps that is why a cabin was available.

Landed at 7:43 PM
