Last Day, Little Arbor Vitae, Lake Katherine, Little Bearskin Lake

On the water at 7:52 AM. That would be Eastern Time.  Never adjusted the  camera clock to Central time.

A short paddle.  Landed at 7:18.  Checkout was at 9:30, and I had lot to do.  Mainly prepare a big breakfast, with all the leftovers that spending a week brings.  Most of it with 2 brothers and a sister in law who all brought, and left, ample supplies.   There was turkey lunch meat. Not as fresh as these.
Downtown Minocqua
On Lake Katherine at 9:42

The extended family stayed in this house, twice.

A hint of fall color

U.S. 51.  Lake Katherine is vey convenient to the highway

Only eagle photos I got on Lake Katherine

Landed at 12:33. 11:33 Central.  42 minutes later, I was on Little Bearskin Lake.
For years, I have driven past a Boat Ramp, that way sign, south of County Road Y, on 51.  This time I drove on the winding, hilly road, to Little Bearskin Lake

First time I have seen a bald eagle doing the anhinga winga thinga.

Landed at 2:10, 1:10, Central.
