Juniper Creek and more, Christmas Day

More, began with sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico at Grayton Beach

I take that back, More began with a bald eagle.

Little Redfish Lake.  A coastal  dune lake.

Christmas breakfast

Starting the bike half of a car-bike shuttle

About a six mile ride from Indian Ford Bridge to Red Rock Road Bridge
On Juniper Creek just before 1, 12 Central.

Spectacular Florida cliffs

Stream joining Juniper Creek

The Florida Trail runs along the Creek. Picnic table may be a campsite. Or, just a random picnic table placed by locals.

Landed at 3:15.  I saw less than 10 people on Juniper Creek.  One group on a sandbar. They came by land, and 3 kayakers.    I gave one a ride back to Red Rock Road.  He had another ride, but did not want to wait for the other 2 paddlers to get to Indian Ford.  Nice kid.  In Coast Guard Flight School.
I made a visit to nearby Blackwater River State Park
Champion Tree, below.

Choctawhatchee Bay

Last light, Grayton Beach.
