Turkey Creek and more

Took my nephew, his wife, and their eldest kayaking.  Hoped to take another nephew, but he did not arrive at the condo until after 3 AM.

I did great Jack when he arrived after 3 AM.  Too late for him to see the 2:30 AM rocket launch.

Up a few hours later for the sunrise.  The balcony is huge.  Makes use of the bathrooms at the pool.

Marsh rabbit.

Last year, at Sanibel, Tyler said, "Serena can paddle her own kayak"  He wound up towing her.  I suggested getting a tandem.  He agreed.  There are two rental places on Palm Bay.  The new place has online reservations.  I looked at the website, and nothing was available before noon. I called the Palm Bay Marina.  They had one tandem. "Can you hold it to 10 AM?  Yes.
We were on the water at 10:10.   Sneaky Tyler gave the rental guy his credit card for the tandem when I was filling out the rental waiver form.

Meghan was the first to spot dolphins.  And manatees

Meghan was also the first to spot an alligator when we got into Turkey Creek

High bluff

Serena liked the turtles doing the Superman pose.  All four limbs outstretched out of the shell.

End of the up Creek paddle

First time I have seen iguanas north of Oleta River State Park in North Miami on the Atlantic Coast.
We would not have seen them had I not led us up a dead end canal.

The moon at 9 PM.  After dinner at Grills Riverside.  I had a shrimp Cuban.  Which sucked. Ruined by an overpowering spicy sauce.
