Gemini Springs Run

I was thinking of another urban paddle today.  Clear Lake, just southwest of Downtown Orlando. I have never kayaked there.  But, it was raining.  The system must have been moving north to south as it was forecast to let up north of town before it did in Orlando.  So,  headed north, to Gemini Springs Park.
Trying to find the third spring.  It has to be pretty small. This is just the run.

 Here are the twins

On the water at 6.
 Moorhen

 Great blue heron
 Anhinga

 Blue heron
 Osprey

 Turned around, here.

 Limpkin

The run is extremely shallow, the rain is welcome

Alligator

Landed at 7:25

The former swimming area.  Closed since 2002 due to high levels of bacteria in the water.  From bird poop.  Declining flow from the springs is too week to flush it out.

Valet parking.
